Sometimes your emotions run crazy when you're in love and you can't see a way in or out. That's infatuation.

INFATUATION

I haven’t felt the cold this much
I’m frozen to the spot by your icy touch
Did forever turned to never yesterday?

Your silence seems so treacherous
Just like the empty distance between us
But I don’t wanna see you anyway

It’s like pouring ink upon a spreading stain
And reality beats satire again

CHORUS
There’s no need to explain
Your actions said it all
Now you’ve cut through the vein
For your final curtain call
And we’ve gone past the point of saturation
To infatuation

I’ve never been so close before
To calling it a day from the thirteenth floor
But I haven’t got it in me or so it seems

It’s like pouring salt upon an open wound
This didn’t really go as I’d assumed

CHORUS

Was it my imagination
Confusing like for adulation
But you encouraged me
To live this fantasy

Haunted by my fascination
My memories no consolation
For the vacancy
When you deserted me

It’s like pouring ink upon a spreading stain
And reality beats satire again

CHORUS
