This song was inspired by Laura Marling who I saw perform in 2021. She's a brilliant songwriter and performer, using an impressive range of guitar tunings for her songs. So I challenged myself to write something with DADDAD tuning. The result is this reflective song 'Residue' about those molecules of feelings left over from an old love affair.
