You can't stop the sands of time, but you can make the most of what you have. Cherish your friendships, appreciate those you love.

WORTH LIVING FOR

I think we went the long way round
Reckoned we had time to kill
I wonder how much died because
We weren’t aware
No day was spare

Couldn’t hold the grains in my bare hand
Slipping through my palms like slick quicksand
Disappearing into no man’s land

CHORUS
Sometimes you leave me cold
I ask too much I’m told
Although we’re getting old
There’s still more
Worth living for

Have you really done enough
To make me feel you really care?
I wonder if we’ll ever get
To strip it bare
And clear the air

I can’t stop the stubborn second hand
Another wasted moment in wasteland
Never understanding where I stand

CHORUS
What’s a friendship for?
